Staff Selection Commission is inviting applications for Recruitment to the posts of Stenographer Grade C & D, as per the details given below.
Staff Selection Commission will hold an All India Open Competitive Examination for recruitment to the posts of Stenographer Grade „C‟ ( Group ‘B’ Non-Gazetted) in Pay Band 2 plus Grade Pay as admissible and Stenographer Grade „D‟ (Group ‘C’ Non-Technical) in Pay Band 1 plus Grade Pay as admissible in various Central Government Ministries / Departments / Offices. AGE LIMIT : 18-27 years as on 01.08.2015 (Candidates born not before 02-08-1988 and not later than 01-08-1997).
Note I : Candidate should note that only the Date of Birth as recorded in the Matriculation / Secondary Examination Certificate or an equivalent certificate available on the date of submission of application will be accepted by the Commission for determining the age eligibility and no subsequent request for its change will be considered or granted.
Age Relaxation will be provided as per Government Rules.
Educational Qualification : Must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
NOTE : As per Ministry of Human Resource Development Notification No. 44 dated 01.03.1995 published in Gazette of India edition dated 08.04.1995, the Degree obtained through open Universities/Distance Education Mode needs to be recognized by Distance Education Council, IGNOU. Accordingly, unless such Degrees had been recognized for the period when the candidates acquired the relevant qualification, they will not be accepted for the purpose of Educational Qualification.
Application Fee :- Rs. 100/- for General & OBC Candidates. Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Physically Handicapped, and Ex.Servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from paying application fee as per extant Government Orders. The candidates should pay the requisite fee only through State Bank of India either in the form of Challan or through SBI net banking.

Candidates Should Retain The Registration Number Assigned To Them Online And Details Of Payment Of Fee For Further Correspondence With The Commission.
