Fireman, Group `C' employees in this depot will All India Service Liability, as
per the details given below.

& Eligible Candidates may Apply. Prescribed application form
available on below link. Certified copies along with
application forms: (a) One latest passport size photograph should be affixed on
the application form one on right hand corner of application and one on
Acknowledgement Card. (a) One 12x18 cms self-addressed envelope affixed with
postage stamp Rs. 22/- should be attached along with the form clearly
mentioning the applicants postal address at which he desires the acknowledgement
slip/admission card for test/interview be sent. • (b) Following photocopies of
the certificate duly attested by a Gazetted Officer should be attached along
with application form:- (i) Educational qualification certificate (ii) Copy of
Employment Exchange registration card if any (iii) Age proof certificate (iv)
PH Certificate where applicable (v). Character Certificate (vi) Domicile
Certificate (vii) Caste Certificate where applicable
The individual should be in
possession of Acknowledgement Card sent by this unit and all the original
documents for verification at the time of interview. No individual who are not
in possession of Acknowledgement Card will be entertained.
A bench mark percentage is fixed i.e.
45% aggregate in Matriculation for applying for the post of Fireman. 10.
Candidate should submit his application form duly completed in all respects to
Commandant, Ordnance Depot, Alipore, Kolkata-700027 by closing hours of last date
or submission i.e. 21 days from the date of publication. Date of Interview of
application should be intimated- to the individual by post. No separate letter
except acknowledgement.
Applicant should write name and
category of post on the envelope. 12. Note: (a) No TA/DA will be admissible for
attending the test/interview.-(b) Please note that incomplete application
without affixing photograph or without enclosing attested photocopies of
educational certificate showing date of birth and caste certificate (as
applicable) or if applicable found overage on last date of receipt of
application as indicated above will be rejected and candidate will not be
entertained for written exam & interview. -(c) Candidates must ensure that
no column is left blank or wrongly filled. Applications not filled correctly
are liable to be rejected and then onus of such rejection would be on the
candidate himself. The depot administrative will not entitled any claim after
such rejection. The application format be typed on A4 size paper and forward to
this Depot. Newspaper cutting will not be entitled. (d) Candidates who applied
OBC shall attached and produce the Other Back Class Certificate and not the
backward certificate duly signed by applicable authority. (e) No application
will be accepted in by hand or through any representative. The application must
be posted to the addressee under register cover. The depot will not be
responsible delay.
