Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) RECRUITMENT Recruitment April 2013 West Bengal


DVC invites ONLINE applications from young and promising Indian Citizens having good academic record to join the organization for the following posts with details under Table I & II for its various Power Plants, Sub-stations, Offices, Hospitals spread  across the State of West Bengal & Jharkhand. Please read the advertisement carefully and ensure eligibility criteria before submitting On-Line application. The eligibility criteria regarding prescribed educational qualification, experience, age and other relevant details including modality as to how to apply are mentioned below.
Candidates who are otherwise eligible as per Qualification Requirements (QR) & experience read with other terms & conditions given in the detailed Advertisement in the DVC website www.dvc.gov.in may only apply. The detailed advertisement containing qualifying requirements, dates and venue of Test/Interview and other terms and conditions will be available in DVC website www.dvc.gov.in  from 1300 hours of 13.04.2013 to 24:00 hours of 06.05.2013. On Line applications are also invited in the prescribed format from the intending regular employees of DVC who are otherwise fulfilling the eligibility criteria as per QR & Experience read with other terms & conditions laid down in the DVC website. No other mode of application will be acceptable.

                      DETAILS OF MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION (QR) & EXPERIENCE
1
Orthopedic Surgeon
Post No.2013/1
Must have a Post Graduate Degree like MS or Diploma Like FRCS with D. Ortho/MS Ortho. Minimum 2 years’ experience in Orthopedic Surgery.

Sr. Chemist Gr-III (Tr.)
Post No. 2013/2
2(Two) years’ full time M.Sc(Chemistry) with B.Sc(Hons) in Chemistry from a Recognised Institute/College/University with at least 60% marks (For General/OBC) in aggregate of all years/Semesters.  Relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ST Candidates.

Management Trainee
(P & A)

Masters Degree/Post Graduate Diploma (at least 2 years full time) equivalent to Degree in HR Management/Personnel Management/Industrial Relations or MBA (at least 2 years full time with HR/Industrial Relations/Personnel Management as main subject) from AICTE approved Institutes/Universities with not less than 55% marks. 5% marks relaxable for SC & ST.
Explanation : Master Degree/Post Graduate Degree/Diploma includes Masters in Labour & Social Welfare (LSW), Masters in Social Welfare (MSW), Human Resource Management(HRM), Personnel Management & Industrial Relations (PMIR) of two years full time duration.  In case of any dispute regarding the equivalency of the required Qualification Requirement (QR), the decision of DVC shall be final  & binding.

Executive(Law)-M1
Post No.2013/4
Degree in Law from a recognized University or a Premier Law School or College.  Must be enrolled Legal Practitioner & be proficient in Arbitration Proceedings, Drafting Deeds, Petitions, etc. and dealing with Court Cases.  Knowledge in Tax matters, Labour Laws and experience in conducting cases before Labour Courts/Tribunals essential.
Experience :  5 Years, experience which should include experience as practicing Lawyer in a High Court or in any Court not lower than District Court.  Preference will be given to those having experience in Judicial service or in handing legal matters in any Government Departments or Commercial Firms of repute.

3(Three) years’ full time Diploma in Engineering/Technology in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering from any recognized College/Institute approved by AICTE with not less than 65% marks (General/OBC)/60% marks (SC/ST) taking average of all the semesters, irrespective of the weightage given to any particular Semester/Year by the Institute /University.
