Qualifications:Essential:
For Sl. No. 1:
1. Minimum Eligibility Criteria :
a)
An eminent scholar with consistently good academic record and a Ph. D. degree in the concerned
/ allied / relevant discipline with a number of high quality research publications in reputed journals and / or publication of books.
b)
At least 10 years’ experience in University / College and / or experience in research in university / reputed research
institutions / industries.
c) Research guidance of doctoral students.
For Sl. No. (1) & (2) : (i) Uniformly
good academic record with a Master’s
degree with minimum 55% marks or its equivalent grade in the point scale whenever a grading system is followed.
(ii)
At least 10 years experience in a supervisory capacity in a University or a Research Institute or Government/Quasi Government Organisation.
(iii) At least five years administrative experience.
For Sl. No. (3)
:
a. A Master’s
degree in Library
Science
/
Information Science
/ Documentation with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever
grading system is followed) and consistently good academic record as set out in UGC Regulations, 2010.
b.
At least 13 (thirteen) years of experience as a Deputy Librarian in a University Library or 18 (eighteen) years of experience as a College Librarian.
c.
Evidence of innovative library services and organization of
published work.
LAST DATE OF RECEIVING APPLICATION IS “March 4th, 2013” (by post or in person)
2. Additional Experiences :
Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses and use of modern technology in teaching-learning process.
An outstanding professional with established reputation
in the
relevant field and who has made significant contribution to the knowledge in the concerned
/ allied / relevant discipline may also be considered for appointment as Professor.
3.
A minimum API score
of 175 as defined in the Selection Criteria of the University shall be applicable.
4.
Minimum 10 publication books & Papers,
Experience of guiding research.
5. Research and teaching experience in Women’s
Studies or related field.
For Sl. No. 2 :Masters’ or
equivalent (with 55%
minimum) or
M.Phil in
any subject
from a recognized University.
For Sl. No. 3:Bachelor degree in any discipline followed by a Bachelors
Degree in Library and Information Science from a recognized University
(at
least 55%).
For Sl. No. 4: 1. Graduate in any subject with minimum 45% marks.
2. Diploma or certificate courses in computer operation from a recognized institution. For Sl.No. 5 :Class VIII passed.
