Office of the District Judge, Malda, is inviting application for filling up of 8 posts in the Category of English Stenographer (Grade-III), in the Judgeship of Malda. Madhyamik pass candidates who meets the below mentioned criteria of Typing of Shorthand may apply for the post. Apply on prescribed Application format. 1. English Stenographer: 8 Nos. (General—01; General EC—2; General PH—1; SC—2; ST—1; OBC-A-EC—1)
Qualification Required: Madhyamik pass or equivalent.
Essential Qualification: Minimum speed @ 80 words per minute in the shorthand and a minimum speed @ 30 words per minute in typewriting from legible manuscript in English and also a certificate in computer training from a recognized institution and a satisfactory fingering speed in the Computer operation are required.
Age: between 18yrs to 40yrs as on 01-01-2013. Upper age relaxation for OBC—3yrs; SC/ST—5yrs; PH—2yrs.
Pay scale: Rs.7100—37600 and Grade pay: Rs.3900/-
The appointment will initially made on a purely temporary basis but is likely to be made permanent.

District Judge, Malda – 732101, with self-addressed envelope (25x11cm) with affixed postal stamp of Rs.5/- and with attested testimonials, recent two passport size photographs (one copy is to be pasted on the form duly signed by the candidate), accompanied by Application fee.
