14 Volunteers Recruit in HOWRAH DISTRICT

HOWRAH DISTRICT
Office of the Deputy Director of Agriculture (ADMN) and Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA), Howrah, is inviting application for contractual engagement of Volunteers through ATMA Districts for Pest & Disease scouting under the Project “Disease & Pestilence Warning System” in different blocks of Howrah. Interested candidates may submit their Bio-Data at the below prescribed address. Information given below—

ATMA HOWRAH INVITES VOLUNTEERS FOR PEST & DISEASE SCOUTING AT DIFFERENT BLOCKS OF HOWRAH DISTRICT. TOTAL CONTRACTUAL VACANCIES: 14 NOS. (2 POST IN EACH BLOCK). LAST DATE: 28/01/2013.

ATMA Howrah is going to engage contractually some volunteers for Pest & Disease scouting at different blocks of Howrah district as mentioned below. The application along with Bio-Data should reach to the block level committee of the respective block within 28-01-2013.

Application Criteria:—
Applicant should be a local candidates of the block having agricultural background as well as capable of riding bi-cycle extensively within project site and should have own mobile phone.

Qualification Required: Higher Secondary pass with Biology/ Vocational Agriculture.
Basic knowledge in computer application and Internet operation is desirable.
Candidates must have sound health.
Age limits: Applicant must be within 18yrs to 25yrs.
Nature of Duties—
Service of the volunteers will be utilized under the supervision and control of the PIA (BCKV). They will carry out consistent surveillance over the pest and diseases to be surveyed on selected crops.
Honouraium: Rs.5000/- pm (Consolidated)
The engagement is purely on contractual basis for a period of Six months subject to periodic evaluation of performance by the PIA and pro-terminus with project period.

1. Jagatballavpur: 2 Nos.
2. Panchla: 2 Nos.
3. Udaynarayanpur: 2 Nos.
4. Amta – I: 2 Nos.
5. Amta – II: 2 Nos.
6. Bangnan – I: 2 Nos.
7. Shyampur – I: 2 Nos.
