Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) is inviting application for Special Recruitment Drive for filling up Backlog vacancies of SC/ ST/ OBC and Ex-Serviceman for the post of Head Constable - Clerk (Ministerial) in CISF – 2012. HEAD CONSTABLE - CLERK (MINISTERIAL)
No. of Vacancies: 464 Nos. (OBC—195; SC—88; ST—59; Ex-Serviceman—122)
15 % of the vacancies are reserved for women. In case suitable women candidates are not available then the vacancies will be filled by suitable male candidates.
Qualification Required: Intermediate or 10+2 from recognized Board/ University.
Age Limits: between 18yrs to 25yrs as on 01-08-2012. Upper age relaxation for OBC—3yrs; SC/ST—5yrs. Ex-Serviceman and Others—as per Govt. norms.
Pay scale: Rs.5200—20200 with Grade pay: Rs.2400/- per month.
Physical Standards— For Male candidates: Height—167.5cms (162.5cms for ST); Chest (Unexpanded/ Expanded) : 81/ 86cms (76/ 81 for ST candidates)
For Female Candidates: Height—157cms (152.5 cms for ST candidates); Chest—Not applicable.
Weight: Corresponding to Height.
Eye sight: 6/6 in one eye and 6/9 in other eye in minimum distant vision without correction.
N.B. Cut-off in Height and Chest for candidates falling in the categories of Garhwalis, Kumaoni, Gorkhas, Dogras and Marathas and candidates belonging to the states of Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Kashmir and Leh & Ladakh regions of J&K is as per norms (Refer the Advt.)
Candidates must be physically fit. Candidates must not have Knock knee, Flat Foot, Squint in eyes or Varicose vein and they should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.
The recruitment will be done on All India Basis. The selected candidates will be posted any where in India.
Selection of the candidates will be through Height and Weight Measurement, Written Examination, Computer skill test and Medical examination.
Written Examination will be Objective type question on General Intelligence, GK, General English or Hindi and Arithmetic.
Computer test will be English typing of 35 words per minute and 30 words pm in Hindi typing.
Application fee: Rs.50/- in form of crossed Indian Postal Order (IPO) drawn in favour of the Officer to whom application should be sent.
